Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry (Lumprice)
Entering into early 2026, winter is here at Tsukiji. The shift of the season is quite visible with the orders from the customers at our cafe with more hot drinks.
The ingridients that are also full of winter cuisines. How about a Sri Lankan curry to keep your immune system healthy with spices!
As the year moves on, seasonal ingridients are changing too.
The theme of January is “New Year at Sri Lanka” using various ingridients from the market.
Instead of surving our Sri Lankan curry, we are serving Sri Lankan style Biriyani this month which is commonly eaten at Sri Lanka with there new year!
Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry is available to all customers with 1500 yen once a month under reservation.
It is for “to go/take away” only.
With in the curry, there are always 3-4 types of main curry and 6-9 side dishes that are specially cooked by our chef.
As its been, this curry is sold under reservations only. Please either order the curry with pre-payments at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe or make the reservation online at our online store.

■Jaffna Pork Curry with Lemongrass: A distinctive variation of our Jaffna pork curry, prepared with a vibrant blend of fresh herbs, including lemongrass.
This curry is a staple of the Jaffna region in northern Sri Lanka, home to a community with deep Indian roots, where countless family recipes exist.
On this occasion, we present a rare rendition that highlights the bright,aromatic character of lemongrass.
■White Azuki Bean Curry: Curry made with rare white azuki beans from Hokkaido, mild and comforting flavor.
■Spanish Mackerel Kirimalu: A coconut milk curry of seasonal Spanish mackerel.
While there are many regional variations, this coconut milk–based preparation is a local favorite in Sri Lanka.
Finished with a generous touch of our house-selected black pepper, lending a warm, aromatic depth to the dish.
■Egg Curry: Boiled egg stir-fried with various spices and aromatic vegetable selected by chef.

■Seasonal Green Vegetable Theldala: Seasonal Green vegetable stir-fried with spices along with onions and maldive fish.
■Hosta Plant & Eggplant Haal Masso Theldala
■Edogawa-Crown Daisy Sambol: Fresh Edogawa-Crown daisy marinated with coconuts.
■Carrot Sambol: Seasonal Carrot that tends to be sweet marinated with coconut.
■Butterbur scape Fritto: Fried Butterbur scape. Finishing touch flavoring it with home blended spice.
■Marinated Red Cabbage: Marinated red cabbage with spices.
■Spice-Fried Seasonal Fish: Seasonal Fish fried with homemade seasoning-mix
