Mid March, Spring is here, cherry blossum is going to bloom.
The change in the season is quite visible when you look at the seasonal ingrdients at the market.

Different from the Srilankan curry that we serve monthly, Thai curry uses various types of fresh herbs along with the various spices.

The combination of different herbs in the homemade curry paste result as different Thai curry such as Green curry, Red curry, etc.

Adding coconut milk into the homemade curry paste brings some fusion of sweetness and spiciness resulting as providing authentic Thai flavor.

More and more warmer day. How about some Craft Thai Curry using various spices and herbs to maintain your health in the new fiscal year?

The Craft Thai Curry of March will be Poo Pad Pong curry using Japanese Blue Crab along with Soft Shell Crab straight from the Toyosu Market as carefully selected ingridient.

Same as the Srilankan Curry, 
We accept reservation either online at our official hompage using credit card or/and reservation at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe.

Menu of April - Japanese Blue Crab Poo Pad Pong Curry

Selected Main Ingridient of the Month: Japanese Blue Crab

Poo Pad Pong Curry can be divided in to three parts. Poo = Crab, Pad = Stir-fried, and Pong Curry means Curry powder.

Originally it was a simple Thai cuisine which crab was stir-fried simply with curry powder. Regularly, the soft shell crab is commonly used for this curry in Thailand but this time with us, we use Japanese Blue crab from Tokyo bay along with the soft shell crab.

The rich flavor of the stir-fried aromatic vegetable and Umami of the Japanese Blue crab are soaked into the egg.
Homemade Chili-in Oil is used as finishing touch to add some spicy kick along with enhancing the flavor of the crab.

The Jasmine rice used is directly imported from Thailand.

Along with the Curry, We have prepared Larb moo (Minced Pork Salad).
It is a well known Northeastern-Thai cuisine that have characteristic to use roasted rice powder.

For Larb Moo, we use domestic pork “Iwachu-Pork” from Iwate prefecture and homemade roasted rice powder. Massive amount of fresh red onion and fresh herbs are used along with Fresh Nam Pla, Chilis from Thailand and Special lime called Manao from Thailand are used to make the homemade dressing fro this Salad.

It can be eaten alone or can enhance the flavor of the Poo Pad Pong curry when mixed together to eat.
