Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry (Lumprice)
Hope all of you are enjoying the Obon break. After the rain during the mountain day holiday, it seems the extreme heat has calmed down a little bit. The ingridients we see at the market is definitely shifting to mid-summer. How about a Sri Lankan curry to keep your immune system healthy with spices!
As the year moves on, seasonal ingridients are changing too.
The theme of August is “Mid-Summer is here” using various spring ingridients.
Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry is available to all customers with 1500 yen once a month under reservation.
It is for “to go/take away” only.
With in the curry, there are always 3-4 types of main curry and 6-9 side dishes that are specially cooked by our chef.
As its been, this curry is sold under reservations only. Please either order the curry with pre-payments at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe or make the reservation online at our online store.

4 Main Curry
■Japanese Amberjack Kirimaru: Fish based curry using Japanese Amberjack based with tomato and coconuts milk.
■Mixed Dal Parrippu: Bean curry with Moong Dal Yellow, Mosur Dal, Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Tool Dal.
■Potato Green Pea Curry: Vegetable based curry using seasonal Green Pea from Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture and soft and flaky Kita-akari potato.
■Egg Curry: Boiled egg stir-fried with various spices and aromatic vegetable selected by chef.
7 Side Dishes
■Winged bean Thel Dala: Winged bean stir-fired, flavored with Maldive fish and chili.
■Baby Sardine and Kagura Bell pepper Thel Dala: Baby sardine and Kagura Bell pepper stir-fried.
■Marinated Red Cabbage: Marinated red cabbage with spices.
■Sprout Sambol: Sambol made with seasonal sprout.
■Eggplant & Tomato Sambol: Fresh Eggplant from Senshu, Osaka Prefecture marinated with citrus juice and maldive fish
along with Shiso herb, onion, Green chili and fresh petit tomato from Nagano prefecture.
■Green Vegetable mustard stir-fry: Seasonal Green vegetable stir-fried with mustard oil.
■Spice-Fried Seasonal Fish: Seasonal Fish fried with homemade seasoning-mix
