Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry (Lumprice)
Entering into mid-September, the temperture is still like mid-summer. Although the weather is still like summer, the ingridients that are seasonal are shifting toward fall. How about a Sri Lankan curry to keep your immune system healthy with spices!
As the year moves on, seasonal ingridients are changing too.
The theme of September is “Fall is coming” using various spring ingridients.
Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry is available to all customers with 1500 yen once a month under reservation.
It is for “to go/take away” only.
With in the curry, there are always 3-4 types of main curry and 6-9 side dishes that are specially cooked by our chef.
As its been, this curry is sold under reservations only. Please either order the curry with pre-payments at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe or make the reservation online at our online store.

4 Main Curry
■Black Pork Curry: Using pork marinated with Goraka which is known as spice to have special sourness.
The kick from the black pepper and goraka matches very well.
■White Azuki Bean Curry: Curry made with rare white azuki beans from Hokkaido, mild and comforting flavor.
■Shrimp Curry: Coconut milk–based curry with green chili heat, enriched with broth from shrimp heads. Made with Mexican brown shrimp.
■Omelet Curry: Omelet with aromatic vegetable marinated with gravy sauce.
8 Side Dishes
■Mushroom Theldala – Stir-fried seasonal mushrooms with house-made spiced oil.
■Grilled Ginkgo Nuts – Char-grilled jade-green ginkgo nuts, finished with house-made Thuna Paha spice mix.
■Sweet Potato Theldala – Stir-fried sweet potato with chili and Maldive fish, finished with citrus juice for a sweet and spicy flavor.
■Manganji Chili Cutlet – Manganji peppers stuffed with a fish-free cutlet filling, coated in biscuit crumbs and fried crisp.
■Marinated Red Cabbage: Marinated red cabbage with spices.
■Whitebait & Edomae Herb Sambol – Fried whitebait tossed with green chili and Maldive fish sambol, finished with fresh Edomae herbs.
■Green Vegetable mustard stir-fry: Seasonal Green vegetable stir-fried with mustard oil.
■Spice-Fried Green-eyes: Green-eyes fried with homemade seasoning-mix
