Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry (Lumprice)
Entering March, the season starting to shift to spring and it is quite visible when you see the seasonal ingridients in the market. How about a Sri Lankan curry to keep your immune system healthy with spices!
As the year moves on, seasonal ingridients are changing too.
The theme of February is “Changing season” using various spring ingridients.
Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry is available to all customers with 1500 yen once a month under reservation.
It is for “to go/take away” only.
With in the curry, there are always 3-4 types of main curry and 6-9 side dishes that are specially cooked by our chef.
As its been, this curry is sold under reservations only. Please either order the curry with pre-payments at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe or make the reservation online at our online store.

Seasonal Vegetable:Garlic Chives・Asparagus・Radish・Japanese Mountain Asparagus (Udo)・Butterbur Sprout・Watercress
Seasonal Seafood:Glass Shrimp, Cherry Salmon, Spanish Mackerel
(4 Main Curry)
■Jaffna Style Pork Curry:Characteristic of this pork curry is using the fresh raw red pepper.
Jaffna is a province in norther Sri Lanka with group of population existing with roots from India.
■Parrippu curry with White kidney beans & Canola flower:The seasonal white kidney beans “Kita-Hotaru” usually used for high grade Japanese sweet bean paste simmered with various spices including cinammon.
■Firefly Squid Curry:Seasonal firefly squid stewed with roasted homemade Thuna Paha.
■Egg Curry:Fried Spice seasoned egg with gravy sauce.
(9 Side Dishes)
■Garlic Chives & Whitebait Theldela:A seasonal stir-fry featuring fresh whitebait and two types of garlic chives (yellow chives and regular chives). For an added touch of color and texture, snow peas are included as an accent.
■Cherry Salmon & Asparagus:Cherry Salmon and Asparagus stir fired with homemade Thuna Paha.
■Spanish Mackerel Ambulthiyal: Spanish mackerel flavored with Goraka (Sour spice). In Sri Lanka,
it is eaten as preserved food.
■Watercress & Udo Sambol:Marinated fresh Udo and watercress from Uonuma, Niigata even edible uncooked.
■Radish&Whitefish&Onion Sambol:Fried Whitefish and radish marinated with maldive fish and green chili.
■Marinated Red Cabbage: Marinated red cabbage with spices.
■New Zealand Spinach mustard stir-fry: New Zealand Spinach vegetable stir-fried with mustard oil.
■Butterbur scape Fritto: Fried Butterbur scape. Finishing touch flavoring it with home blended spice.
■Spice-Fried Seasonal Fish: Seasonal Fish fried with homemade seasoning-mix
