November is nearly end. Only a little more than a month left in 2025, The ingridients are now in start of winter season. More and more days with cool weather, we see a lot of family trip to Tsukuji Fish Market everyday for both domestic and international tourist.
The change in the season is quite visible when you look at the seasonal ingrdients at the market.

Different from the Srilankan curry that we serve monthly, Thai curry uses various types of fresh herbs along with the various spices.

The combination of different herbs in the homemade curry paste result as different Thai curry such as Green curry, Red curry, etc.

Adding coconut milk into the homemade curry paste brings some fusion of sweetness and spiciness resulting as providing authentic Thai flavor.

At this time of the year, we have to be careful from catching cold due to temperture difference between the morning and daytime. How about some Craft Thai Curry using various spices and herbs to maintain your health with the changing weather?

The Craft Thai Curry of October will be Red Curry with Oumi duck & pumpkin – Fragrant with Spices and Thai Herbs using ingridients from the market carefully selected by our chef.

Same as the Srilankan Curry we serve monthly, 
We accept reservation either online at our official hompage using credit card or/and reservation at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe.

旬の南瓜と近江鴨を使ったレッドカレー


■ Red Curry with Omi Duck and Seasonal Pumpkin
This curry is made using a paste prepared with Prik Banchang, a large chili with very mild heat.
Although its vivid red color appears quite spicy, it is actually milder than green curry.

For this dish, we use Omi duck, which pairs exceptionally well with red curry.
The curry also includes Japanese bamboo shoots, assorted mushrooms, 
and seasonal pumpkin, adding natural sweetness as they reach peak flavor.
It is a curry where a gentle sweetness follows the pleasant, tingling heat.
It also pairs wonderfully with the side dish of gapao and a fried egg.

■ Gapao (Thai Basil Stir-Fry)
Made with coarsely ground domestic minced meat that includes soft cartilage for added texture.
This simple Gaprao stays true to the style experienced in Thailand—stir-fried with fresh holy basil (Thai basil) and seasoned only with a house-made sauce that blends several types of Thai soy sauces.
