Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry (Lumprice)

Entering June 2024, nearly middle of the year 2024, Tsukiji just had a festival and the season here in Tokyo right before Rainy season. How about a sri lankan curry to keep your immune system healthy with spices!

As the year moves on, seasonal ingridients are changing too.
The theme of June is “Summer is coming”

Pepper Shop’s Sri Lankan Curry is available to all customers with 1500 yen once a month under reservation.
It is for “to go/take away” only.
With in the curry, there are always 3-4 types of main curry and 6-9 side dishes that are specially cooked by our chef.

As its been, this curry is sold under reservations only. Please either order the curry with pre-payments at Tsukiji Peppers Cafe or make the reservation online at our online store.

Seasonal Vegetable: Bitter Melon, Winged Bean, Green Pepper, Corn, Bitter Melon, Saltwort (Okahijiki), Kamo eggplant
Seasonal Seafood: Daggertooth Pike eel

4 Main Curry

■Black Pork Curry: Using pork marinated with Goraka which is known as spice to have special sourness.
The kick from the black pepper and goraka matches very well.
■Parrippu curry: Simple bean based curry using Lentil beans.
■Kamo-Eggplant Hodda: Soupy kamo-eggplant curry.
■Egg Curry: Boiled egg stir-fried with various spices and aromatic vegetable selected by chef.

8 Side Dishes

■Winged bean Thel Dala: Winged bean stir-fired, flavored with Maldive fish and chili.
■Green Pepper Thel Dala: Seasonal green pepper and grounded pork stir fried by homemade Thuna Papa.
■Corn and Sakura shrimp Thel dala: Sakura shrimp and corn stir fried by maldive fish and spices.
■Devilled Daggertooth Pike Eel: Daggertooth Pike eel marinated by homemade devil sauce.
■Bitter Melon Sambol: Sambol of Bitter Melon flavored by maldive fish and green chili.
■Radish Sambol: Radish marinated with spice and coconuts.
■Marinated Red Cabbage: Marinated red cabbage with spices.
■Spice-Fried Smelt fish: Smelt Fish fried with homemade seasoning-mix.
